Bus Trips
We offer you the opportunity to join us on a number of bus trips per year at a reasonable cost. The trip usually includes morning tea, lunch and entry to any special venues. 2025 Bus Trips
Wednesday 14th May—Bli Bli Hotel and Rosemount Nursery
This morning we are heading north with a morning stop at Dulong Lookout to take in the panoramic views over the Sunshine Coast from Coolum through to Caloundra. Continue on to the newly opened Bli Bli Hotel where the beautiful décor and ambience offers a relaxed setting for lunch. This afternoon indulge in some retail therapy at Rosemount Nursery with its vast array of plants, garden care products and accessories.
Cost $75 per person. Morning tea and lunch.
Thursday 4th September —Emu Heaven
Emu Heaven, originally established 25 years ago, in the Marburg area and the largest in Queensland. Emu Heaven has a new farm at Coleyville and we will be visiting this new property where Steve the breeder and producer, will provide a talk on the Emu, the farm and Emu products that they produce which will be available for purchase. You will also have the opportunity to witness the emu’s in their paddocks. After lunch in a county Hotel we visit the Ipswich Nature Centre which features a range of Australian wildlife, lush landscaped gardens and exhibits that have been recreated to represent local bushland and flora communities.
Cost $70 per person. Morning tea and lunch.
