Sandgate & District (St Margaret’s) Home Assist Secure is a not-for-profit community service. Our Organisation was initially established in 1993 under the auspice of the Corporation of the Synod of the Diocese of Brisbane. Funded by the Queensland Government (Department of Housing), our goal was to provide security related assistance to eligible clients.
In 1995 the program was expanded by the Department of Housing to include home maintenance and minor modification work. Home and Community Care funding in 1996 saw further expansion in jobs undertaken and the regions where our services are offered.
We employ a general manager, a field coordinator, a team of full-time administration officers and field officers. We also receive services from volunteers. All staff, volunteers and contractors must undertake a nationwide police check before they can be employed by the service. This ensures you will only be dealing with trusted and reliable people.
